The College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, tenure-track/tenured Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor: Marine Geologist (Seafloor Sediments) position (depending on qualifications).This position will complement and expand current expertise related to marine geology and specifically marine sediments.

MARSSAM assists US scientists with planning and conducting seafloor coring and dredging expeditions, maintains and provides sampling equipment, sails technicians and ensures science goals are met or exceeded. As a co-director, the successful candidate will be expected to lead and advance US coring operations on US Academic Research Fleet vessels.
